Grant Writing Workshops

Grant Writing Boot Camp

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, we are currently not offering our in-person Grant Writing Workshops.

In this full-day high-touch, hands-on workshop, you'll learn effective strategies for researching and writing foundation grants.

This workshop combines lecture, group discussion, and hands-on activities to reinforce course material.

You'll practice with more than a dozen exercises and leave with new ideas and actual writing samples that can be incorporated in your next grant proposal.

The focus of this workshop is foundation grants.
(State and federal grants are not part of this program.)

What People Say About This Workshop

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and found it very useful. Information was easy to understand. Helped explain many aspects of grant writing that I have found confusing. I am more confident that I will be able to write a great proposal.

The materials that were given out were very helpful. I like that the examples in the workbook are plain language that I understand and not 'technical'. I also found learning about grant databases to be valuable, as well as information regarding the 990 and foundations.

The entire workshop was useful; however, it was the "tidbits", such as grammar, length of essay, wording, etc that was extra useful. The little things meant just as much to me.

I'm already using tools I was given a week ago at the grant writing boot camp. It was incredibly helpful and more than met my expectations. Just wrote a note to the financial guru on our board telling him it was worth the investment and my time! Excellent! Doing a letter of request for a potential new grantmaker, and using ideas for it.
